Epicurious provides tutorials on making stunning *inhale* centrepieces with some edibles. I mean using artichokes & asparagus!? What an amazing idea to incorporate non-traditional elements.

Perfect. I'm hoping to get some ideas on what colors would go best with purple and in the process of sourcing for pix of spaces with a dash of purple - not too overwelming with much purple details. I am completely swooning over a purple bouquet that I'd love for my wedding.
This picture suggests sticking to neutrals with a pops of purple for a more casual setting and board #309 suggests red+plum for a swanky event. Any suggestions?

I dropped in at iwannagohome (no kidding!) this afternoon with my mom, and got a funky clock for the kitchen. I'l try to snap a picture of it some-day. The following are some whimsical items i spotted and adore, on the shelves as well as the website. My fav are the chests (so parisien!)

I love anything moorish/spanish/moroccan, you know, along those lines. I bought a new CD album, Lust 2 and have been listening to Salma Ya Salama [it's supposed to be an egyptian arabic folk song re-mixed with both arabic and spanish by artist Dalida] all day long. Anyway, on the topic of clean, neat interiors that are a dream to clean (Yes, I've got OCD), I can't get my mind off this. {Link: Image via The City Sage}

*hyperventilate* i stumbled on iDiY, that contains free downloads / tons of ideas for inexpensive wedding ideas. There are SO many blog entries that I am thrilled with that I didn't know what to pick to feature here. I decided to go for this wish tree, that takes the place of a traditional guest book. What an amazing idea!

As a little girl, I always lived in my own little world. Often, immersed in fairy tales and the world of imaginary friends. This post by the cherry blossom girl transported me back to the good 'ol days. Oh, how I would have loved a crown of flowers. I still do! {Click for steps on making one}
